Position Overview:
We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and service-oriented Waitress to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, a deep appreciation for craft beer, and a love for providing outstanding service. You will be responsible for ensuring our guests have an unforgettable dining experience by delivering excellent customer service and maintaining a welcoming environment both indoors and outdoors.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat customers in a timely and friendly manner.
- Present menus, provide detailed information on dishes and beverages and offer recommendations based on customer preferences.
- Take accurate food and drink orders and enter them into the POS system.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and courteously.
- Ensure tables are set up properly and maintain cleanliness in the dining areas.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback with professionalism and a positive attitude.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to provide seamless service.
- Assist with opening and closing duties as needed.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of our menu, including seasonal and special items, as well as our craft beer selections.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a waitress or in a similar role in the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge or interest in craft beers and gourmet cuisine.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be of legal age to serve alcohol.
- Positive attitude, team player, and strong work ethic.
- Ability to stand, walk, and carry heavy trays for extended periods.
